Specialty coffee meets supporting charities
When Marcus and Rhian learnt that most UK rescues rely on donations to survive, which simply isn't enough, they set up Sanctuary Coffee; a way to make the UK’s favourite morning kick-starter fund rescues. They now proudly share their revenue with six animal rescues here in the UK.
Marcus and Rhian and their beloved Greyhound Dionne became a family back in 2019. In 2021, they started responsibly sourcing speciality coffee from importer partners or directly with producers all over the world and fully traceable to farms. Each coffee is roasted by Marcus (a real bean-whizz) in London using small batches, to keep the coffee fresh and waste low. They are proud that by selling just over 50 kilos of coffee each day, they can raise enough money to cut the average rescue centre’s essentials bill in half each month.
