Ian and Ben founded Brew Crew, a new wave social enterprise coffee roaster, uniquely focused on high quality coffee paired with maximum transparency, and genuinely tangible impact at source. By committing 5% of their wholesale revenue to projects at source, they offer a completely effortless way for customers to make a genuine difference in the world, simply by enjoying some of the best coffee the world has to offer.
A large proportion of the carbon produced from coffee, is done so during farming and transportation. This is a big reason why Brew Crew's sourcing strategy is so important and why they develop long-term trading relationships with farmers and cooperatives, ensuring they pay well above Fairtrade prices to give farmers the financial stability they need to be able to invest in sustainable farming practices and reduce their impact on the environment.
