A stunning roastery and cafe kitchen in the heart of Canterbury

In 2011 Stu and Sarah quit their careers working the 9-5 to spend a year backpacking across the world! When they arrived in Melbourne, Australia they discovered aussie style coffee and knew instantly that they wanted to bring this style of coffee back to the UK, that’s when Lost Sheep Coffee was born.

In 2012 they purchased a three-wheeled micro coffee van and pitched up on Canterbury Highstreet. The aim was simple, introduce the local community to Aussie style speciality coffee. In 2014 they introduced the Lost Sheep Coffee Pod, in 2017 the award-winning Speciality Coffee Roastery was opened in Whitstable Kent, roasting coffee and sending it out to their customers all over the world as well as supplying some fantastic wholesale customers.  In 2021 Lost Sheep Coffee opened The Lost Sheep Coffee and Kitchen next to the Cathedral in Canterbury.

Now, with over a decade of speciality coffee experience and a passion for quality Lost Sheep Coffee precision roast all of their fully traceable speciality coffee beans by hand in small batches, ensuring they know exactly where all their coffee comes from – providing full traceability from farm to cup.

We first met Lost Sheep at the London Coffee festival a couple of years ago and instantly loved the quirky branding (as well as their incredible range of coffees). When we looking for more roasters to join the club they were top of our list. We hope you enjoy their coffees and their curly sheep.
