Hugo Abraham – Hondurus

Hugo Abraham Alvarado is a young coffee producer that has 25 hectares of coffee in the La Union area of Copan. After trying to produce microlots last year, but realising the picking was letting the coffee down quality-wise, Hugo doubled down and got everything right this year — even with increased rains during the harvest and a lack of pickers meanings that large amounts of coffee was lost. We’re very grateful to have this coffee, and look forward to trying more from Hugo.

This is a big bold, delicious coffee. We’re saying black forest gâteau, chocolate, and hazelnut, so think forest berries and dessert, lots of dessert.
