Roasters note:
Our seasonal espresso blend is formulated to show a different side of espresso. We choose lots that are unique, bright, fruity, and sweet. This creates a wild and exciting profile. Lot number 3 comes from a group of small farmers in the Sidama region of Southern Ethiopia. This group all have between 3 and 12 hectares growing under the shade of native trees in a forest. The variety grown here is known to have very pronounced citrus and floral notes, where they are all hand-picked and processed on site before being placed on raised beds to dry for around one month. Finca Sabaneta is a natural processed coffee produced by Daisy Milena Contreras de Miralda at a mill in Santa Ana owned by herself and her brothers, who are also coffee producers. This is one of two lots we have sourced this year with the other being a washed process.
I love the subtle taste, that is not too bitter.
