A true independent roaster and winner of 17 Fine Food Taste awards
47 degrees coffee was set up in 2017 by Aidy (the chap in the photo) in Langley Mill, Derbyshire. He was inspired to start his own coffee roastery after being made redundant and deciding that factory work wasn’t for him. Not really knowing what to do, he decided to follow his passion for coffee. His objectives were, and still are quite simply, to produce a great tasting product at a fair price, made with love.
Move forward to today, and Aidy is now the proud winner of 17 Great Taste Awards from the Guild of Fine Food (That’s a big thing in the fine food & drink world), his coffees have been featured in the Times Newspaper. He ranges a small selection of award-winning coffees from around the world and roasts them only in small batches to ensure the coffee you receive is at its peak of freshness.
We believe Aidy and 47 Degrees is one of the reasons we exist… a genuine independent roaster, producing the finest award winning coffees who needs shouting about. Every coffee you receive will be hand roasted & packaged by Aidy himself. Every coffee Aidy offers is a Fine Food Award winner which is incredible and we are very happy to be offering them as part of our club.
And why 47 degrees Coffee, you ask?
Did you know most of the world’s coffee is grown between the tropics of Cancer and Capricorn?
