Costa Rica Bota Tarrazu

Well-defined rainy and dry seasons, in the renown Tarrazú region, make it lush with vegetation and an ideal area for growing coffee. A cooperative called Coope Dota came about to help farmers in a time when there was huge uncertainty in coffee prices. They started to receive fairer pay for their coffee and help with agricultural practices thanks to the coop, improving quality along the way.

Typically, coffee from Tarrazú has a well-rounded body, high acidity and strong aroma; this coffee is no exception. A beautiful orange blossom aroma comes from the roasted beans and when brewed there is a soft citrus acidity and a honey-like sweetness.
